Hi, my name is Charlie and I am 26 years old from Vancouver, Canada where I live with my cat amongst the evergreens. I began experimenting with html in middle school, but this is my first time creating a page from scratch.

My interest in all things web related began when I was 9 with my introduction to the Warrior cats series and it's large assortment of fan related content which I quickly jonined in on creating. My very first interactions with creating my own webpages/customizing my socials with html was in the form of adding stamps to my DA profile or making websites for me and my friends to roleplay on. Later around 14-16 I moved to editing the html of my various Tumblr blogs, something that forced me to learn to work with/create more complicated html codes.

As an adult my interest was resparked by the indie web movement which encouraged the kind of internet creativity I was missing from the 2020s internet landscape. Also due to my area of study I've gotten space to read about how the early internet was a vital space for queer/trans people, something near and dear my heart as I myself am a transexual of the early web!
